Getting Started

How do I create an account?

To create an account, click the "Get Started" button on our homepage and follow the registration process. You'll need to provide your email address and verify it before proceeding with identity verification.

What documents do I need for verification?

We accept government-issued photo IDs such as passports (coming soon) and driver's licenses / state ID cards. The document must be valid and not expired. You'll also need to take a selfie while holding the document up to your face to complete the verification process.

How long does verification take?

Most verifications are completed within 48 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your verification is complete.

Account Security

Why is there no password?

We use a passwordless authentication system as passwords are often easily compromised. This means that you don't need to remember anything to log in. Instead, you'll use either a passkey, totp code, or one-time login link that we'll send to your email address.

Is my data secure?

Yes, we use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Your sensitive information is stored on secure servers in compliance with data protection regulations.

Platform Integration

How do I connect to a platform?

Once your identity is verified, you can connect to any participating platform by clicking the "Connect" button on their site. You'll be prompted to authorize the connection and choose what information to share.

Can I revoke platform access?

Yes, you can revoke access to any platform at any time through your account settings. This will immediately disconnect your verified identity from that platform, preventing any further access of information. Note that we are not responsible for how platforms manage your existing data after you disconnect.

Can I revoke just certain information?

Yes, you can revoke specific scopes of information from a platform at any time through your account settings. This will immediately prevent any of that information from being shared with the platform in the future.

Privacy & Data

What information do you store?

We store your favorite color, favorite food, what time you sleep... just kidding! We do store all the information you provide to us during registration and the verification process. This includes your email address, legal name, date of birth, and the documents you upload.

Where is my data stored?

Your sensitive data is stored in a country that meets the data residency requirements for the country that issued your ID. We'll let you know what country your information is stored in during the verification process prior to you uploading your ID. All other information is stored in Canada. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data.

How can I delete my account?

You can request account deletion through your account settings. This will remove your personal information from our systems, though some data may be retained for legal, fraud prevention, and/or operational purposes.
